I noticed that after the update I now have to enter the Pin multiple times throughout the day when I need to use Samsung Pay, even though I didn't take the watch off, this didn't happen to me before the update.
Yes, I think Samsung Pay has reverted to the old Tizen behaviour where the PIN would time out after about 20 minutes.

On the plus side, now my initial PIN after wearing the watch sticks, which is a bigger relief than the Samsung Pay thing is an annoyance!

I do find that the PIN entry process itself is noticeably more clunky and not as quick as before the update.

I hate to muddy the waters but I noticed the last couple of days that I now have to enter the PIN for Samsung Pay every time I want to use it AND I still have to enter the PIN every time I take the watch off (or turn it back on). I haven't updated the watch since May (LTE version). Perhaps the app updated? Weird......

I noticed this too and it was annoying, switched over to my Google Wallet and it still works w/o having to enter the pin each time.

I am using the new Universal Gestures feature (which btw kills using the other gestures like shake to answer calls (n)), anyway the issue that I am finding is that every time the screen dims back to either screen-off or ambient, I hear a click-sound. Anyone else notice that?
The only way I found of getting rid of the clicking noise is to mute the Media sound (on the watch) or put it very low. The issue is that the speaker on the watch is affected by this, so phone calls and music is also very muted or low. Anyone else experiencing the click/tick noise that occurs when universal gestures is turned on and the watch goes to AOD mode? do you have a better solution to fix this (other than not using Universal Gestures :))?
