Watch Google Play movies on my TV?

I found out how to download Google play movies on to my N7 for offline viewing, but now I would like to watch them on my TV. I have a Sony Blu Ray player with a USB port in the front. Just not sure where the movies are stored on the N7 to access them, cant find them anywhere but the Movie and TV app. Still not sure how it plays offline. anyone know where the movies are being stored and how I can access them to watch on my TV?

My understanding is google play movies are tied to the device you've downloaded them to (using drm) and since the n7 has no video output abilities (hdmi, miracast, whatever), you can't.
