Watch Movie with .dcf extension

My friend got the Samsung Vibrant for T-Mobile and he gave me the Avatar movie how do I watch it on the EVO, it has the dcf extension.

It's a copy protected file. You need another file to make it work. Where did you friend get it from?

Ya it costs that much but getting any movie on a phone is a b*tch when you have the CD one I don't even know how to get any damn movie on this thing

If you can find a movie in mpg, mp4, avi etc, encoded with divx rockplayer from the market will play it. Try vuze.

If you have the movie, then just use handbrake to rip the DVD to mp4. It's a pretty straight forward process. I'm sure there have been plenty of threads on it in this forum, so just to a quick search.

Yup. I ripped Iron Man and Iron Man 2 to MP4 and had them on my EVO but never had 1.5-2hrs of free time to watch them. There are lots of converters out there but handbrake is free. Just use the iphone settings and it will work fine for the EVO.
