Coming from iPhone and Apple Watch. I have note 10+ on way. What’s the best all around watch out that I can use for this phone? I work out daily but also want something that is good at everything. Wait on Active 2?

I love my gear s3 frontier but if you can wait I would say wait for the active 2. I'll upgrade when my gear s3 dies but there's not point right now to upgrade for the sake of upgrading.

I also have an Apple Watch, and honestly I always go back to iOS for my daily driver because I like it so much, and haven't had a very good experience with the watches I've tried so far. I got the OG Active free with my Note 10+, and I'm not a fan of it at all. It's ok for fitness and notifications, and that's it. I've wanted to try some of the other Samsung watches though. I also haven't tried Wear OS since they changed the name, and redesigned it, but I'd like to. I don't have any solid advice for you other than don't bother with the 1st gen Active.

I have the active first gen, it's good but I'm waiting on the gen 2. It'll be pretty awesome. The 42mm galaxy watch is great as well just a little thick

Active 2 is probably the closest to Apple watch that you're going to get.

For me personally, when my Gear Sport died just out of warranty (both buttons stopped working within 2 weeks of each other) I switched to a fitbit versa. It doesn't integrate as well/nicely, but it does the fitness stuff I want, displays notifications, and has a battery that lasts 4 days. I've come to realize I don't want a watch to do too much. Give me notifications, give me great fitness tracking, and give me great battery life. The versa does that. Is it as flashy as the Galaxy watches? Nope. But that's ok with me.

My gear sport recently died too and I really liked it. Almost ordered another one but I think I'll wait for the active 2

I've been using the Gear S3 for a little over 2 years now. In my opinion, it's held up better than my AW series 3. It's definitely made better and I prefer the interface, but that's certainly a personal preference. The AW4 is a pretty big step forward so if you are looking for something along those lines, I'd wait and see how good the Active 2 is.

Either way, if you use a lot of apps on your watch, you will be disappointed in Samsung's offerings. I don't, and I prefer Samsung's approach to the software interface so it works well for me. Overall, I still think the AW4 is the best smartwatch on the market today. Unfortunately, that doesn't help out when using the Note.

I am waiting to see if google releases a pixel watch this year of not the active 2 LTE will be my choice.

I have Galaxy Watch and Gear S3 but I use the S3 the most because of it working with Samsung Pay on almost any reader yet. Not sure why they made the Galaxy watch work with only NFC.

I have the Galaxy Watch and it does everything I need it too and more. If you wait for the Active 2 it will probably have the same feature and a few extra and it will be less bulky.

Galaxy watch has been out for a bit, I added a stainless steel band and bezel to match. Makes all my apple watch wearing friends jealous! I can see an easy 2-3 years before I think of an upgrade.

It bums me out they don't make the Galaxy Watch in black for the 46mm size. The silver looks cheap to me.

I'm going to hold onto my frontier until it dies. It's the last watch with the MST. I'm really bummed that the newer ones dropped that feature, I use it all the time.

Same here. I might go out and find a used one as mine is getting beat up.

I've been using my LTE Apple Watch as a standalone smartwatch, but after reading all these posts and seeing how happy you guys are, I decided to give my Active another shot. Hopefully I can make it work for me.
