No. This will not work.
There are couple reasons, But one of the biggest is that is requires a Touchwiz kernel. Along with touchwiz permissions.
Just search IR blaster in the play store. Some of them work alright. Depending on what TV you have

Just got home and it turns out that the WatchOn app WILL work with CM 10.2!

I do appreciate your help though.

Really???? woah shocked me.
I didnt think any TW app worked on any other Kernel.
I apologize for the misleading info

No problem.

I guess it has to do with the app being powered by Peel and not having to rely on TW at all.

How did you get it to work on CW Mod 10? I've tried peel.apk to no avail. I'm on CM11.
