Recently this (*&^%$^ WatchON app keeps appearing in the (notification panel or whatever it is called) and wanting me to set it up, and it is not an app i can un-install.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Every time i go into the apps and shut it down.

Thanks for any help

Randy

I've had mine since launch haven't encountered this issue; maybe just set it up and forget about it? If that doesn't work let me know and I'll look further into it.

Have you tried setting it up and then just not use it anymore? It might leave you alone...

Furthermore, in the app settings, there's an option to have the app lodged as a persistent notification; maybe that's set to ON in your case.

And while you can't uninstall it, you CAN freeze it (disable it). Just go to Settings, More, Application Manager, All and look for the WatchON app. Once you go inside the app settings, you'll notice a Disable button. What this does is keeping the app in the freezer and not letting it run at all (it even removes it from your App drawer). Should you want to use the app again, just go into the same settings (you'll find your disabled apps at the very bottom of the list in the All tab).

I have closed it down and reported it from the settings are and it keeps coming back to the top left corner. Any more ideas?

Same here...must be a recent update that caused it. I disabled it and uninstall to factory version...hope that does it as l don't use it.

You have to go into the app itself and turn notification off. Keep in mind that it will come back after reboot. But until then it will go away.

Yes, I found that to be the case, which is why I disabled it.
