Android Central Question

I have samsung galaxy s6 edge which as I've been told had spent 20min in washing machine. so I stripped it down washed pcb's in ultrasonic cleaner, everything seems nice and clean, tried to swap battery but all I get is a little flicker once in a while while connected to charger. multimeter reads 1,75V from power connector pins, not sure if that's what it should be or not. any advice on how and what else could be diagnosed before spending fortune for screens etc? don't want to invest in it just to find out that motherboard has been logged completely. thanks in advance.

will all the abuse a washer causes from soapy water to the spin cycles, I think it might be best to get a new phone. you can take it to a repair shop but most likely the cost will exceed the value.

V+ should be around 3.8 volts or so going in before the device regulator(s).
If the device had power, which it did, check all power contacts for corrosion damage.
Pull and inspect all micro connectors.
Water can get under the flat packs and needs to be completely removed.
Make sure all of it's components and miro connectors arecompletely dry before applying power...

If the water was conductive the damage is probably extensive. Inspect with bright light and magnification especially around the power sections of the mobo.

100% (not 70%) isopropyl alcohol and low pressure air can be used to remove water from mobo(micro connectors too) but do not get around the edges of the LCD as it can poison (destroy) the display.
Leaving the mobo sit on it's edge for a couple days in a warm dry place with a fan on can be used to get last traces of moisture. All moisture must be removed.
Watch the ESD or you can fry it like that too!
