Water damage indicator location

It should be on the inside of the phone right under where the sim card tray sits.

I just looked in mine and didn't see it there either.
I was sure I saw an indicator in there on one of my other One's.

Just dropped my two- week old htc one in the pool yesterday. pretty devastated to say the least. in any case, i have looked for water damage indicators as well to see if i can cover them up and get a replacement from AT&T (risky, i know). any words of wisdom from other unfortunate HTC One users? :-\

Seriously, I looked at the SIM, Headphone Jack & Micro USB and I can't find it.

Actually if it's anything like previous htc phones, there should actually be at least two indicators and one is inside the phones casing itself.

Att rep told me that its the small square with pink or yellow color inside your phone.
When I changed my phone they were asking what color it was. I asked them why he saidnif the color changed that means it has liquid on it. Remove the battery and you will find it there.

I was on the phone with AT&T warranty service yesterday, and they had me look at the tiny square inside the LED flash next to the camera lens. Mine has a yellowish tint to it and he told me that meant there was no water damage, otherwise it would be red.

On the HTC One M7 the water damage indicator is located on the flash. There is yellow litmus paper there. If it is yellow no water damage. If it is red or black then water has penatrated the seal.
