From the pictures released by VZW, the Droid Pro looks awesome! Huge screen and Blackberry-esque keyboard make this the perfect form factor! Let's just hope that the rest of the leaked specs make it to reality (mainly the 1.3 GHz processor). Way to go Verizon and Moto!

I think it looks gross.

I think it LOOKS nice. I want to hear more about the specs, though. What size screen? How good is the processor? Etc...

I know it's a vanity feature, but there is NO reason why this shouldn't have a front facing camera.

This is a global business phone.. video chatting will increasingly becoming important.. why not throw it on here.

That being said.. anyone else thing BBerry will sue over the keyboard?

The keyboard looks like it was ripped straight from bold. If it's as good as the bold's keyboard, I may actually consider getting a droid pro.

Too bad it's running blur and the bootloader is likely locked down. Damn it moto!!!

Looks like It's got the PhilBlur. But more Importantly it's not yet BingTastic!

Not sure how I feel about the KBD. I think I'd have to see the screen first to see if the KBD real estate works or not.

Yea I'm not sure if I could get used to a smaller screen now that I have the dx. I feel like I would miss it. However, if the keyboard is as good as the tour it may find it's way into my collection... I do kind of miss being able to type without looking at the screen (or having to speak my text out loud)

RIM won't sue over the Keyboard I don't think, because holding my Bold 9000 keyboard up to the screen next to the picture of the Droid PRO's keyboard, there are differences. I mean, in terms of size and space and all, yes it looks almost exactly the same - but it's not. I can count about 4 minor differences.

Well, I hate Motorola, for one. But I also don't like the design BECAUSE it looks too much like a Blackberry. But I think it will really appeal to the professional crowd (like my dad, who MIGHT be talked into Android when his Storm contract is up.. my brother and I are trying to get him off of that BB)

3.1 inch screen and 1GHz. Not quite as good as I hoped, but the screen size means it wont be that ridiculous looking. 1GHz is still fast, especially since Moto uses the OMAP processors, which in my experience operate significantly faster than their Qualcomm counterparts running at the same clock speed.

3.1 inch screen isn't as big as I had hoped, but that means possibly much better battery life, too :)

how bout the Tour 9630 keyboard? it looks pretty much identical to that of my Tour's (shape-wise that is not key placement)

im glad i wasnt the only one who looked at the picture of the Droid Pro and said, "Blackberry?" lol

not gonna lie tho....if it didnt have MotoBLUR....i would LOVE for the Droid Pro to come to sprint so i can switch to it....i miss my BB keyboard :(

Well, that's what I meant with mine too. The spacing, shape-wise and all is very similar of course, which is why everyone is immediately thinking "blackberry" when seeing it, but some keys are placed differently. I don't know **** about law, but I was assuming they can't sue anyway since it is not as direct a copy as people were first claiming.

I miss my BB keyboard too (I messed up my Bold last week, currently phone-less.) I can type 2980 WPM on that thing without ever even looking at the phone..I can just be staring straight forward with my head held high. *sigh*...

This would be the phone I'd probably be getting right now, if it were on AT&T. I guess I will have to settle for the Captivate.

Not sure about the battery. In the engadget pics it looked like the same battery as the droid. I had ok life with my droid, but not spectacular (granted it was oc most of the time)

To tell you the truth qualcomm processors have been much faster than the omap series especially when you pit the new generation against what is offered in this. the processor in the g2 will run laps arouaround the 3620 shoot even the 3630
and that thing engadget said about it not running the full blur I call bull on that blur is blur they can change the colors but it's still the same thing

I've been saying ever since touch screens started becoming more popular that the traditional blackberry should have one, now I could care less if they do. This will make a lot of people very happy.
