Way to go Google/Verizon re: updates

Just got the latest 7.1.1 update. Refreshing not having to wait 3 months until it goes through the Verizon certification process. Just another reason I love my Pixel.

Looks like Verizon is 3/3 on updating concurrently with Google. Jan update released yesterday. I know 3 is a small sample, but old Verizon would be 0/3 by now.

Although, they DID sit on the "double tap to see notifications" update for several WEEKS (sent it out to Canadians but not on Verizon for almost a month, if memory serves).

Sure beats what I was used to using a Blackberry on Verizon... The phone was great but waiting on updates was pure torture! Keep up the good work Verizon and Google!

No Pixel phone in the US got that update until December. That was not limited to p just Verizon users.

That was a soft launch, no other country got it besides Canada. If there had been something wrong with it they would have patched before it got to the rest of the world.

Got Jan security update today on VZ phone. Not bad.
