Way to have text messages vibrate instead of a sound?

Is there a way to make your text messages vibrate and still keep the volume up for the phone ringer? I dont see "vibrate" as an option when I pick a ringer for the event.

I'm assuming that you use the stock app for messages. If so, open the app, tap menu and "Settings". Tap on "Notifications", under "Received notification" un-check "Play notification sound" and check "Vibrate".

Thanks, I figured there had to be a way to do it. I was looking under the general settings.
