Way to trick phone into thinking it has LS670ZVD?

Hey All-
Just wondering if there is a way to trick the phone into thinking it has LS670ZVD? I'm rooted with V9, but use a Mac which means I can't use the LG updater tool to instal VD and then root. So in the meantime, I am hoping I can just trick the phone into thinking it's got VD (bad phrasing, I know...) so it'll stop prompting me to update all the time. Thanks!

You can't trick it as update actually updates your radio. If you are using mac you can always setup bootcamp, boot into windows run LG updater and then boot back into macos. I'm also on Mac and that was going to be my plan. I'm still on V9 but i'm planning on updating soon

Try hitting the more info tab then pull the battery trick and see if that works. It did with vc.
