Wear App Slowing Down Phone?

Has anyone noticed the Android Wear app slowing your phone down? I'm pretty sure it's the Wear app since my HTC One M8 freezes numerous times a day since I got my moto 360. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had my Moto 360 paired up on my HTC One M8 since Friday, and I've noticed no freezes. Did you install any other apps along with the Android Wear app?

Same issue here. I think it is related to the phone battery issue that several are experiencing due to a high cpu spike from wear. Do you happen to log into any work or guest wifi that block some sites? It seems like some ports on these networks are blocked and don't allow the watch to reach certain ports. This causes a huge spike in cpu usage and drains watch battery / slows phone. It was driving me crazy as well!
