weather animations like the HTC One X?

One of the neat little things I liked about the setup I had on my One X was the weather animations, showing raindrops on the scree for example, so I was wondering if the M8 has this? While it is not a big deal, it is just one of those small but fun things that I have always missed and am thinking about getting a used M8 to swap back and forth between my Moto X I also really liked Sense and thought that vanilla Android on the Nexus 4, which was my first Android phone that I sold for the One X, was just that, vanilla, a bit too plain for me.

Anyway, I would appreciate any info from those who went from a One X to an M7 or M8 or for any current M8 owner who knows what I am talking about.

Unfortunately HTC removed the weather animation. While it wasn't a deal breaker for me, I did kinda enjoy it. I'm sure there's a weather widget on the app store that'll emulate the same effect. Maybe even rooting the phone will.

Thanks and too bad about taking that out as it was just one of those neat little things that set the One X apart. I may still pick up a used one but the M9 will be announced in March so I might just wait for that.

Haven't seen the one you are referring too, but if you tap the weather Icon on the Home Screen it will open up to whatever weather you have going on, sound effects and all.

Hoping for a good holiday sale from HTC on an unlocked no contract M8 since I missed their last one. If not then I will probably buy a used one or just wait for the Hima.
