Weather on lock screen?

On my T-Mobile G4 I noticed there was a setting under Lock Screen settings that lets you enable weather animation on the lock screen. How exactly do you enable the weather in the first place? All I see when I unlock is a clock with the date, notifications, and quick shortcuts.

It only shows up when you have some type of weather in your area: rain, snow, etc.. It doesn't show nice sunny days but may show something on unusually hot or cold days.

I'm going to set my location for some place that actually has rain/storms since I'll never get to see it here. :'(
