Weird Icon When Trying to View A Picture in Gallery

I'm trying to pull up a picture that I took with the camera. The thumbnail shows correctly, but when I click it to try and pull up the full size image, I am getting this icon (screenshot below). All of the other pictures are working correctly, and this is the first time I have ever seen this icon. Any thoughts on what the issue is?

It means its corrupted/ unviewable

My phone was doing this all the time when I saved picture to me sd card. I switched it to save pictures to my phones memory and it has not happen again. Not sure why it would do it but it did and now it don't
