Weird issue

Just noticed this happen twice when I had my camera open. Just now was taking photo of my lunch trying to food setting, also the auto and pro. Twice a bright pink flashed on I'd say a third of the screen and went away. Photo taken normally. Wth? Anyone else see this?

Did a camera app clear cache. Will restart the phone just off and on.

It could have been an infrared remote or laser pointer aimed at your lens. I've done that to people to get their attention when their minds seem to be in another room. It it's strong and off-axis all you see is a flash of light.

Really dirty trick but that would be a symptom... can't say if that was it or not. If not that, I'd be worried about radiation levels in whatever food you were eating Amy!
