Weird issues

I want to love this phone but I haven't had one so buggy since my moto 4 whatever it was.

There's some weird issue with the colors where all the yellows disappear and look black.

There's a really weird issue where updating doesn't work (I googled and found others with this problem, I'm going to take the sim out and try).

And theres something else I can't remember right now.

I do love the phone, I just wish they'd done better quality control.

Thank you, I'll try it tomorrow. I will probably have to remove the sim to update the phone.

I don't know, I haven't done that yet. I took the sim card out and was able to update until December of 21. So, I don't know. That's the only update that showed up.

Sorry for the delayed response -- Safe Mode is a pretty simple troubleshooting step, so it's worth a try.

Also, screenshots can help us figure out what might be going on.

So far I haven't been successful at booting into safe mode. I've tried and just only reboots like normal. I'll try it again though.

If the March 2022 security update also got installed, my phone is cured.

The weird things I've been dealing with cleared up when I closed Developers options.

My phone was crazy and luckily it's better now. The evidence of my phone being cracked is still here, in my notes app. Someone who isn't me made a "shopping" note, and it said "eggs". There hasn't been any further trouble since I started using a VPN and especially turning the phone off before sleep.

I reset to factory settings and all my issues cleared up. I've been happily using the phone for at least two years I think.
