Weird Microphone Problem...

I recently got my new Samsung Exhibit II 4G, and I'm seeing some really weird microphone problem... It only works properly in the Camera app, but in the phone and every other app all I get is white noise. What is going on?

I figured out the problem! I was messing with a sound recording app, and I set the mic input from "Front mic" to "Rear mic", and everything worked! Now how do I change the default mic source for every app to the rear one?

Did you have any luck resolving this issue? Having the same thing it appears. Camera app video sound is fine, everything else is no good, including phone calls.

I did somehow resolve this problem, but I have no idea how, maybe just got lucky. I was about to go back to exchange the phone, but I did a few things and somehow it started to work:
* Take out battery for a few minutes and reinserting.
* Downloading the TapeMachine Lite app from the Market and changing Mic Source to Rear.
* Blowing into the mic [The "front mic" is actually located in the earpiece where you would listen to the phone call].
* LOL bouncing the phone on the bed a few times.

Hope you can resolve yours too.
