Weird notification Amazon update

This is the second time today I got this notification, and when I tap on it, it says it's an update from Amazon, and not from the Google play store, and warned me about it being unknown

what happens when you select it? the warning is just a generic warning as it's a third party app which you have downloaded out with the play store. There might be a new apk available to download?

It's Amazon updating their app outside the Google Play store.. I did the update, no biggie, I think it's their way of getting their App Store combined into the Amazon app.. just my guess, because it appears I can download apps from the Amazon app now..

The Amazon app updates itself outside of the Play store so you have to open the app to update it. It's safe.

Ehhh I don't want to inherit Amazon's appstore security vulnerabilities on top of any that are already there. How do I disable the notification?
