weird pictures keep appearing in my gallery...

so i keep getting these pictures appearing in my picture gallery...they kinda look like ads, one is of captain america, the other is of winnieh the pooh, then a few sneaker pics...even after i delete them, they keep coming back on to my gallery. I don't know if i explained it properly or if anyone else been having the same issue, but if this sounds familiar, how the heck can I stop it!! lol

I had this too. Could be downloaded pictures ad from one of your free games. I installed that game and pictures didn't come back

They're most likely coming from a game you are playing. I had the same problem with Words With Friends... deleted them and they never came back.

Yep... same issue... Words With Friends... uninstalled.

On a somewhat related note, is there a way to specify directories for the gallery to NOT display? Seems that is just searches every available directory for picture files. Would be nice in a situation as the OP describes where temporary/system/application cache folders are being displayed in the gallery, or simply if you have pics you don't necessarily want any jackass that picks up your phone to be able to see in the gallery.

You could just put a. .nomedia in that file. That how you hide you porn. "Kidding by the way"

I installed QickPic alternative gallery app, then went to Settings / Browse / Included folders and added /DCIM/Camera .... everything else is now ignored.
