Weird reboot when plugging into computer

I am on a brand spanking new LGOG and I was able to hook it to my computer fine earlier, where I was able to install the drivers and such. Well I decided it was time to add some music to it, and I go to plug it into the computer and as soon as I do that, the phone reboots itself. I thought it was a tad odd and thought whatever, I'll try again. I went to try it again and again it rebooted itself, over and over and over... every time I plugged it back into the computer it would reboot itself. When it does reboot itself, it is like a quick reboot and shows the LG logo flashing like 3-4 times, then the Sprint intro then it loads up all the way.

This doesn't happen if I plug it into the wall via USB -- just the computer.

I may have found the cause of this... one of my usb ports on my computer isn't working correctly.
