Weird Screen Issue

So since Marshmallow arrived for my AT&T Note 5, I have noticed that when I wake/turn on the screen while it is plugged in charging the screen will wake real quick (maybe a second) and turn off. After some fooling around, I noticed it will only do this when the phone is in any other position than sitting upright. Does anyone else have this issue?

Any magnets nearby, which might be interacting with the smartcover sensor in the bezel? Or is Smart Stay turned on?
