Weird screen rotation issue.

Hey guys - I have had my tablet since Jan 2015. I use it all the time. My auto screen rotation has always worked flawlessly. A couple of weeks ago it started something new. Whenever the lock screen comes on it kicks it back to portrait (it sits on my desk in landscape so this means the lock screen is sideways). As soon as I swipe it pops back over to landscape.

I didn't change anything in settings. I tried turning auto rotate off but it still happens.

Any ideas what's up? Thanks in advance.

Did you get any recent system updates?

Does it happen in Safe Mode? Restart in Safe Mode - Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 | Verizon Wireless

It does not happen in safe mode.

In that case, some app that you installed is probably causing the issue. You might have to uninstall apps one by one until the problem goes away.

Sounds plausible except I have only installed new apps recently (after this started) and I hadn't installed any new ones for months prior. I did try to uninstall the ones I recently installed but that had no effect.

Hey B.Diddy... you were spot on. I begrudgingly started to install apps and then remembered I recently enabled some things in Clean Master Lite that could be the culprit. Uninstalled and whamo! All fixed. Thanks for your service.

Woohoo! I gotta tell ya, Clean Master is too often the root of the problem.:-\
