Weird SMS issue

Whenever I get a text, the little icon at the top shows that I have 2 new texts, when I really only have one. I am using the default messaging service and Missed Call to alert me of new texts. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I guess it's not that big of a deal, just really weird/random...

Stop using Missed Call and see if the issue goes away. I'd bet money that is creating the problem for you.
