I saw a few threads here about issues with email after the ICS update, but nothing like the problem I'm having.
I have Verizon Yahoo email - which is a different beast than a regular Yahoo account. (It's an old grandfathered service, so it's not common.) The incoming/outgoing server settings, etc are all different than a regular Yahoo account. The Yahoo app will NOT work for a Verizon Yahoo account, even if the settings are changed.
Since I upgraded to ICS, I've been having email issues, where it doesn't work at all for a few hours, but then it's perfectly fine although I haven't changed anything at all. When I look at the settings, it tells me that my username/password is not correct. However, it's the same thing I've had in there since I got the Razr Maxx. The weird thing is, after a few hours the email works fine even though I didn't change anything.
Any idea of what is wrong?
edited to clarify: I can actually open up my email, and see the emails that are already there. But, I can't get any new emails, or send an email.
