Having come back to Android after a long time so bare with me but this is a joke right? I had a pop up, pop up while browsing the web and now I'm getting a obnoxious ad / virus warning popping up every 5 min telling me my phone is infected. Not in web browsing ether all over the phone no matter what I'm doing. I've had this phone for 3 days so what's going on? I'd this normal or?

Nothing out of the ordinary. Facebook Twitter Instagram YouTube Snapchat AccuWeather pocket casts fandango ESPN Uber twitch showtime

Most probably Accuweather spamming AD notifications. It's nothing with the phone. To be safe though maybe clear data on all Web Browsers? Maybe even install Malwarebytes

Are the popups showing up in your notification area? If so long press on one and it should tell you what app it came from.

This sounds like an advert I've encountered across the web. They pop up a lot when I browse forums, and even some news sites, methinks. But it doesn't actually mean there's an infection. It probably followed you around the web with a cookie and stopped showing up because you cleared the data.
