Weird Weatherbug Behavior On Nexus 7

Weatherbug PRO on my Nexus 7 is behaving weirdly. When I tap on the Radar thumbnail (or menu entry), it opens the map centered in the Caribbean, just East of Cuba, and not centered on my current selected location.

I cleared the app data and cache, and even uninstalled and reinstalled, to no avail. It's working properly on my LG G2.

Anyone else experienced this, or otherwise have any ideas?

The exact same is happening here, but it doesn't do it 100% of the time and it works fine on my Moto X.

I am thinking this started to happen after the May 20 Google Maps update.

I thought it was because I just came back from the Dominican Republic, lol.

More info: It is actually centering the radar map due south of the selected location. When I checked the weather in St. Louis regarding the Yanks Cards game, it centered in Central America; when I checked in LA, it centered in the Pacific Ocean. In all cases, it is centering exactly due south, and is off by the exact same amount.

I'm also seeing 'due south' of actual location. If I tap on the teardrop-shaped "you are here" thing, the view does switch to my correct location. The radar mini-map/button on the main view shows correct, current info.
