Ok, So I woke up this morning and wanted to put new music onto my evo. In the middle of the file transfer I get an error saying" Please eject disk before removing the usb cable". Baffled...i move the usb cable around and it would connect and disconnect.
Soooo I bring it down to the Sprint store to have them take a peek at it. After waiting an hour, the Store Manager comes up to me to tell me that the USB Power Outlet snapped off the PCB board and there was nothing that they could do because this is considered " Normal wear and Tear"...BS .....i have owned numerous phones over the past 6 years and have never had this problem ONCE! I tried talking to him about how it was a launch day phone and that I have been dealing with the light leakage ( that has gotten worse since I received the phone) and now this happens a week after Im able to return/exchange the phone. He said the only thing that I can do is pay the $100.
To top it off when I got it back from Sprint they completely removed the charging port and taped it to the back of the phone....so when the battery dies.....my Evo is useless.
Have any ideas guys? I just got off the phone with HTC and they said since I brought it to my local Sprint repair center and they opened it, THEY voided the manufactures warranty. So HTC can no longer help me.
