i went to install a new card and i got the low space warning on the phones internal memory and the card wouldnt format like an idiot i should have used my computer to do it.

so my phone locked up (stuck on HTC incredible white screen) so i unrooted using doug piston's guide.

i tried to re-root using unrevoked 3.32 like i did the first time and i got the "unable to root firmware is too new" error

but my phone is not rooted but has s-off

my drivers are installed for HBOOT

so i tried a few times no luck still......i went to recovery to try to load my nandroid backup and i cant get into recovery i get a red triangle with an exclamation point in it.

i rolled back to clcokwork 2.5.1.2 form 2.5.1.5 and tried to root again still no good and recovery is the same thing

how can i fix this??? factory reset??? i guess my nandroid backup is useless to me now that i cant even get into recovery so i dont care too much about it right now

my phone is functional and right now i have s-off

i want to re-root to get my tethering back

i tried what you said and with the PB13IMG and the other file and named it update and then it looked like it was working with the green circle with the arrows and then after a minute it went back to red triangle with the exclamaition point.

dont ask me why but i went to the zip file i had the build 3.26.605.1 release (it had my radio and hboot version in the file name) and went to look at it in windows and it says its corrupt so maybe thats my problem?

tried a couple of sources and they are all corrupt zips

I'm already fat 32. I forgot o mention that. I know it seems like a simple process and I think um covering all the steps. Do you have another location for that file that I have cause.mine is bad

It's a brand new 8 gig class 4.

With my clockwork what version should I try to flash 2.5.1.2 or 2.5.1.5. Like is there a compatibility issue with the pb13img file and the clockwork version.

And with unrevoked is it not wanting to root cause the s-off?

And that file that's corrupt it even says that to me on my pc I read about checking the md5 and they started talking about hexadecimals and it was way over my head

This is like driving me crazy. What about a factory reset from the boot menu? Then download the 2.2 from the phone and then try re root again

I tried that those 2 files from that thread using your post this morning again and that's when I got it to start updating and then got the red triangle with the exclamation point.

yes i named the other file which was 93 MB in size update.zip

ok i did do that and then when it finished it asked me to reboot the phone and i said YES was i supposed to say NO? did i cut the process short early

it seems like im doing everything like im supposed to but it wont take for me

P.S. if this doesnt work what will i have to say to verizon to give me a new phone that they cant prove anything is wrong with it.

and would they bother to look at the the s-off cause then ill just try to get that back to s-on

Yes reboot this should work. If you did both off my files. IF IT DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO LET ME REPAIR IT FOR YOU

So I got upstreammiami on gtalk and he answered alot of my questions now I think in can unroot, reroot, and flash anything with confidence.

Before I got him on gtalk I fixed my phone what happened was I wasn't renaming the clockwork file to PB13IMG so I had no clockwork to go into recovery and that's why I got my exclamation point errors. So I'm right back to the way I was.

Big thanks to him again
