What an amazing phone

Hello fellow EVO owners I've just switched from the original Verizon Motorola Droid to Sprint and purchased an EVO. First off let me say that this phone simply is the best phone I've ever used period and I've had a lot smartphones. I also purchased the otter box case which comes with a screen protector. I highly recommend this case because it gives in my opinion the best protection for the EVO. I've researched this phone and sprints network from day one and so far I'm very pleased. I live in Houston tx and 4g has been live here since march. I've tested this and wow! I'm glad I made the switch. As for the battery life, I bought a portable battery charger called splash intense from amazon. This battery charger has a 5400mAh capacity and charges my EVO about 4 full charge times. I don't go nowhere without it and it's that good. Check it out on amazon. I'm glad to join and learn more about this amazing phone! Thanks!

Welcome aboard! You'll find nothing but evo enthusiasts here who like to help each other out to get their Evos running just how they want them and to fix any problems.

It's a great piece of hardware with an excellent build of software. When the time is right for you I suggest you go on over to the rom/hacks section.

I agree with you 100% on the otterbox case, I have it myself. I had the Seidio Innocase II and Amzer gel case and the otterbox has been hands down the best.

I love this phone. If it wasnt for the fact that I have spare batteries, I would get the otter box case for it as well. Those are great cases. But it is a hassle to get them off of the phone.
