Android Central Question

I know nothing about how and what cache's are. Like temporary files what does that usually mean and what is usually in this tempory topic important stuff? I dont want to clear it and then it be something that is / was highly important for its app to work

Welcome to Android Central! Cached data is temporary data. It allows an app to function more quickly and efficiently by keeping data that it'll probably use again soon. If you clear the cache, it won't affect any important personal data, but it can cause the app to be a little slower at first when you start it back up again, because it has to generate that data again.

And the app, if closed normally (the Back button, not the Home button) will delete a lot of temporary data from the cache. If you keep using the Home button to "exit" apps (you're not, you're just running the launcher - the home screen app), the cache keeps filling with data the app can't delete - and you're eventually forced to clear the cache manually if you want to get that space back.
