I've disabled almost all of the AT&T apps and a few of the Samsung apps I know I'll never open. I also disabled Yahoo! Finance, YPmobile, Lookout, and HP Print Service.

What about everyone else?

Very cool. Do you notice any difference in performance or battery life or is it just too soon to tell?

I haven't turned anything off. Went to bed with 100% woke up to 97% been playing with the phone a couple of hours and I'm only at 92% excellent battery life.

Could someone post a quick how - to on disabling unneeded aps? New to android here, and I know I read about it somewhere bit I'm a bit overwhelmed at the moment. JFGIt is a bit beyond me right now!

PS - and please for the love of coffee, can I turn off predictive text? I have always hated it with the passion of eleven (or twelve) firey suns.

Go to Settings-->More-->Applications-->All
Here you'll see your apps and you can select and open them and then disable the ones that allow it.

Too soon to tell I think. Those apps were disabled a few hours after I opened it. I just don't care for all that clutter in my app drawer.
