What are the 3 little metal dots on the R side?

About 2/3 way down, copper colored. They remind me of charging contacts on the BBs I had but they're too small. They must have a reason. Thanks in advance.

Someone else has already asked this and I answered them as well. They are charging points. They are used in the car mount overseas, unfortunately there are no US accessories that use them yet.
