I can't find what could possibly be taking up 6 GB of data. Any suggestions?

If you click it, it'll show what apps make up that 6gb...what I never understood is that those apps should be under apps no? Lol mine says same and I always wondered.

Those are probably your system files/rom.
The phone keeps just over 6 for itself.

Yes, my Verizon S4 showed something similar. I didn't know you could tap on the entry (thanks, Galaxia!), but when I did tap on Miscellaneous files just now, the first item in the list was indeed "System memory 6.30 GB." Then followed some apps, folders, and, well, miscellaneous stuff. I wonder if the application items listed here (instead of under Applications) are data stored by the apps that are listed. Out of curiosity, I restarted the phone, and found that the list was pretty much the same, which does suggest to me that it's app data.

There's also a discussion of S4 system memory going on in this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s4/321834-device-storage.html.

When I click it, I just see a list of apps/files that are not over 56 MB. Nothing even comes close to adding up to 6 GB.
