Hello everyone..

I have an LG G Pro 2, a device that has more varieties that any. there are several model numbers (d838-d837-f350.. etc) each can vary depends on the hardware (some models have TV antennas) and on the region, two different memory sizes, and like tens of different stock kk4.4.2 software versions.

Me device is a 16gb d838 with a software version of d83810b-466-92 (stock) which seems quite rare. I want to update to 5.0.1 but there are no rom that was tested on my rare device. So my question is how to choose a rom to flash that is compatible with my device? Like generally, what are the bases of choosing a compatible ROM to flash when there are too many?

Thanks in advance

You can try flashing a rom for another g pro model number (if one exists) but good if unreliable - so even more always make a backup.
You can't take a phone with similar internals a flash it - it won't work.
Hope you find a rom that works

There are roms for the same model number and memory size. What confuses me is the software versions. There are too many, and mine is rare. I also read something about the kernel version which I don't quite understand its role here.
