What are the benefits of a factory reset?

Wipes the entire phone back to the original settings. It would be good in a few months after you've downloaded and installed programs that you no longer use...it can basically refresh your phone. Not really a benefit at this point since it's only been out for a few weeks anyway.

I dont know if its a benefit to factory reset... but If your going to sell ur phone or give it to a family member it will clear all your personal data, apps, settings, and make it so its like it just came out of the box.

if you are having a huge issue with the device or its just seems like its not preforming the way it once did. the last resort is to do a FR to start fresh.

Its a great failsafe if something goes wrong.

I see lots of post saying t has increased battery health.... Just makes me wonder.

Only do this as a last resort if everything else fails that you have done.
It is easy to set the phone back-up if you have to do a reset, but it will take time if you have a lot of applications. I had to do it when my SD card wasn't being recognized on my Incredible. I had done all I could and decided to do the reset and it fixed the issue.

I was just thinking about it for the battery life but i would get the same apps so I'm not sure if it is worth it at all.
