Really wasn't thinking of the ZF7 because it's just too expensive and didn't see any great deals out there. But when I was at Best Buy to take a look at the ZF7 first hand, an AT&T rep saw me and approached me and before I could say I'm with AT&T already and I'm good, he say my S23U and said AT&T will give $1100 for any S-series so that got my attention and went home and saw he was right.
When I got my S23U, I kept my S22U because when I upgraded with AT&T they were giving $1000 off for iPhones as old as an 11. I have old 11s we don't deploy at work laying around for when one of our kids drops theirs and need a replacement lol so I gave them one of those in hopes of using the S22U for a future $1000 trade-in which may be now.
So just checking to see what deals some were able to get or what the best pre-order offers were. The $1000 trade-ins usually go back and forth between carriers and Samsung direct. If I pass on the ZF7, I'm wondering if there will be a $1000 offer when the S26U is announced.
Checking out the ZF7 I am impressed how crazy thin and light it is. 6.9" outer is perfect now. But wish they use the new silicon carbon batteries to increase battery capacity. If not then they should have added an internal magnetic ring to attach battery packs without need of magsafe cases. Coming from an Ultra, the only other down side is losing the cameras. I'm not a 50x+ zoom guy that often but 30 comes in handy and doing side by side 10x, 30x across BB getting details from TV boxes, the ZF7 is just not as good as my 2+ year old S23U.
