What are these Asian symbols and numbers randomly show up my screen?

This started a few days ago on my Samsung Galaxy S4 running 4.4.4 on T-Mo.

They show up at the bottom of the screen, and in the same place every time. It seems random. I was finally able to get a screen capture of the 2nd part.

The first part that shows up is just Asian (Japanese or Chinese?) symbols. Then the part that I was able screen capture shows up. Each of these two things that flash on the screen are only there for 2-3 seconds each.

I have not installed anything that's not on Play Store and nothing new within the last few days. The Install unknown apps is turned off.

Anyone know what this might be?

Do you have any automatic back up apps installed? For contacts, maybe? What about automatic malware/virus scanners? The text on the message reads 'Processed Files' and counter.

To the OP. There are several reports of ES File Explorer pushing weird messages lately. Do you have this app installed?

As the other thread pointed out... I did have ES Explorer installed which updated a few days ago. I uninstalled to see if that fixes it.
No Pokémon Go for me. I also have Lookout for security. Thanks for the replies!
