What are you doing for VoiceMail on VZW?

Now that VZW has done away with visual voicemail, are there any other apps that would provide a similar function?

This may be more than you're willing to do, but you could get a Google Voice number and associate your current cell # with it. Google Voice can give you visual voicemail.

I actually just spent an hour on the phone with VZW pushing to give me some extra discount as I now have to upgrade my phone.

I am fairly confident that HTC pushed VZW to drop support for this app (and potentially others) on their older handsets, to incite the purchase of their newest release.
Their lackluster sales this past quarter only further support my theory.

It really angers me as VVM is critical for people who use their phones for biz purposes and its definitely not a software/compatibility thing as there is no reason why this app shouldn't continue to work on the M7 and M8.

has verizon eliminated vvm completely? my understanding is that they only got rid of premium vvm for older devices. but you can still use basic vvm.

I cant get anything on my M8.
*86 is my only option....

"YouMail" is great - Free edition or pro, both are a great sub for carrier's overpriced and clunky visual voicemail. Also sends you emails of voice and missed calls. Transcription is pro but the app is great as is.

I've been with them for many years.
