Since the EVO 4g lte launched, what have you held off on doing with your device? And why?

I am waiting on a few things.
- Rooting and flashing a rom.
I really want cm9 to fix the mms and tethering issues. Once this is fixed, I will root and flash!

-Google Wallet
I heard there was a way to setup with a root, but I'd rather wait until it is fixed. I think it would be a great way to see my funds.

I got all you beat! I've been holding off buying an EVO. :p

The S3 was underwhelming, the Photon is getting replaced by a slider and Apple will be more of the same. Barring any hope of a 2GB version of the EVO LTE, I'm buying it today.

Also, my roommate sold his iphone 4s for the EVO LTE and I am very envious.

Same, I'm waiting on a fully functional CM9 or AOSKP ROM before I root and flash.

Waiting on a ROM that can do fix everything and have all phone, camera, etc. function properly. Also, waiting on LTE to go live in my city.

I still don't have the Evo LTE and I'm still trying to make a decision on whether to get the EVO 4g LTE or the Galaxy Nexus. I wonder if the whole benefit of getting a Nexus (pure google and quick updates) is removed by the fact that it's on Sprint. I don't like rooting and just want a device that will be supported, I come from the OG EVO and that received multiple updates (2.1->2.2->2.3.5) so I have a feeling that HTC will continue to provide timely updates as long as it is compatible with storage space but I love the pure google experience on ICS and JB. I'm still on the fence and don't know what to do....

I struggled with that question. I had the nexus s 4g before the evo and while I enjoyed the stock experience I could get past the sub par hardware and the radios where terrible. I decided to get the best hardware I could and i am glad I did.
