Android users, only Android users who have never used a Blackberry phone with Blackberry OS, what are your thoughts on Blackberry Priv Android?

Why the restrictions, only if you've never used BlackBerry OS?

BlackBerry was my first Smart Phone and eventually got sick and tired of the OS when android/iOS came and improved.

I wanted RIM back then to USE android because honestly didn't want to see the company fail.

Because I wanted to hear about Android users opinion only. People from a younger generation, not in their mid 30s-40s-50s something and over. Otherwise I would have posted my question in Crackberry/Blackberry forum.

I tried the Priv. It has a nice hub system for accessing emails, etc. Clicked on the circle and pulled to the right to access the hub.

I think it's going to fill a void for many. The price is a definite setback considering the lower cost of many other devices, including higher spec'd flagships. If the Priv is successful then it'll be exciting to see what else RIM will produce in the future.

Yeah... I'll say 'bon chance' as well. Competition breeds excellence. If Blackberry can resurrect itself as a quality Android OEM brand, what's the drawback?

So far I'm seeing a lot of people trying to get the BB features onto other devices... so there's something there people want.

Fair warning! The keyboard app played funny with my Google Keyboard's personal dictionary. It only had one correction, 'bb' for Blackberry, and all my learned words went *poof*.... I deleted the 'bb' and they came back though. Phew.

Pretty slick method for word prediction though.
