What camera app do you use?

I just changed gallery apps thanks to a recommendation from Feldon in another thread.

Now I'm wondering what camera app people are using. Stock? Something else?

My stock camera does this thing where it forces me to restart it because of an error. It also likes to just give me a black screen where it tries over and over to focus on nothing, and this requires a reboot (or two) to get past. Needless to say, you miss a lot of photo ops.

So, which camera app do you use?

Personally, I always stick to the stock camera (galaxy edge) and it works very well.

I would try restoring your phone to factory settings and formatting your storage to see if this is gonna help with your problem.

I'd actually rather reboot it every once in a while than suffer the process of a reset. I'm rooted and have spend ages getting everything set up just how I want it. If I have to go through that again, it'll be on my next phone.
