What can I do with Meerkat?

I've never been one to try many new apps that are considered "trendy". However, I read the article on the blog page and decided to try Meerkat.

My question is how would I use it?

I know it's all about live streaming. So what would I stream? Is cooking something popular on Meerkat, like food pictures are popular on Instagram?

This might sound like a dumb question, but I really don't know what types of live streams people post using Meerkat.

Given the ephemeral nature of its content, I would suggest to focus on capturing content that is niche and worthy of breaking news on CNN - which these days can be anything like llamas running around in the public. If you find something you're observing very appealing, capturing it with the Meerkat audience will help you get a sizable audience.
