Android Central Question

I bought an Oukitel K7 Pro after reading it was compatible with StraightTalk. Then found out it wasn't so I switched to Verizon and it was also not compatible. I would love to use the phone and it's what I want but I can't find a way to get a carrier. I got to where it would make calls but it won't pick up the internet. I just need to know what carriers work with it please.

Here is the spec sheet, including the network bands supported by the device -

Here is a list of bands in use in the US - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cellular_frequencies_in_the_US

It may actually not be compatible, but maybe someone in here has set it up before.

Welcome to Android Central! Near the bottom of the page, you can also see the supported bands using the number convention (not the frequency): https://www.oukitel.com/products/k/oukitel-k7-pro-118.html. It supports LTE bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/17/19/20/26/38/39/40/41.

T-Mobile uses LTE bands 2/4/5/12/66/71, so the overlap there is bands 2/4/5: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/coverage/t-mobile-network. I believe Band 4 is still the backbone of their network, so since the phone supports that band, it'll probably work pretty well on T-Mobile.

AT&T's LTE bands are 2/4/5/12/14/17/29/30/66, so the overlap there is 2/4/5/12/17: https://www.androidguys.com/guides/reference-guide-to-us-carrier-bands-and-networks/. Bands 12 and 17 have historically been the backbone for AT&T, so again, the phone should work pretty well on that network.

Verizon and Sprint are generally more restrictive about the phones they allow on their network, so you're bound to have more difficulty bringing a random unlocked phone into their network.
