[Android Central Question]

What do do if my phone says "Your device is corrupt. It cannot be trusted and will not boot."

So it's a LG stylo 2 plus, I had lost it for a long while and my cousin recently found it. It keeps poping up a message that reads Your device is corrupt. It cannot be trusted and will not boot. Your device will power off" Then tries to turn on. I would like to regain access to the phone but I don't know what to do.

Welcome to Android Central! That means the firmware has been tampered with. You may need to do a factory reset: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-26766

Or even reflash the stock ROM.
