I own a G2X and want to be able to listen to music in my car. What device do I need to buy in order to do so?

I have a 2006 Caddy GTS

Any advice and suggestions are appreciated

Peace,

Ben

The best thing would be direct link to the back of the radio. A company called isimple makes them. The ones we would need are the universal. Model number is is77.

If your radio has an aux input, you shouldn't need anything more than an aux input cable like for your home stereo or for computer speakers. It'll have a 3.5 mm connector on either end.

Pretty sure those Caddy's don't have that.

Otherwise if your car has intergated bluetooth, most will allow you to play your music through that.

Pretty sure it doesn't have that either. They have the same problem I had with my 07. It was right before the break of aux inputs becoming standard and the removal of tape decks

Aftermarket radio installed in glove box or trunk just sending power to one speaker just mute ur reg radio when call is made

You can buy a bluetooth headunit from bestbuy for $75 now. Then anytime you get near your car and it is running your phone will connect and you can make calls and listen to music through the speakers in your car. Don't just get the cable the bluetooth is what makes car audio and phone a perfect match.

Bt is overrated and kills battery. I'd stick with auxiliary cable. Less work for the phone and less need to plug in and charge while driving.

Stock G2x. Zeam launcher.

And sound quality over bluetooth is nowhere near as good as the aux cable.

I use a Moto T505 in my 06 Lincoln LS. Works very well for me with no wires. The T505 holds charge for more than 2 weeks (based on usage of course). While it does use up battery on the phone, it's not prohibitive for me. YMMV-
