What does color of circle in icon of Widgets 'Active apps manager' mean?

As we know, on our Samsung Galaxy Note 3, there is a Widgets named with 'Active apps manager'. Its icon is a circle with a digital char in it. The digital char might stand for number of current active apps.

I found that sometimes the color of this circle is green while sometimes it becomes green and yellow, even sometimes it becomes red.

I wonder what the color means.
Thank you in advance. :)

I've only seen green and red, on 4.4.3 and 4.4.4 (although the circle is filled in on 4.4.4). Green means 0 or 1, red means more than 1. I've never seen yellow. (And I'm not green/yellow colorblind.)

I found there are three colors, green, orange and red. But what do you mean that "Green means 0 or 1"? Do you mean 0 or 1 stands for number of active apps?

It's not related to the number of apps at all. It means an app is using high cpu resources. I think it turns red around 10% or more for a single app. Not sure the percentage it turns orange but if you're quick enough clicking on the widget, you can find out when it happens.

Hallo, I'm trying to find this famous Active Applications Manager widget, and no way, KitKat 4.4.4 Where should it be?

Are you running stock firmware? You should see it right where you'd expect alphabetically in your widgets.

I don't know what Stock Firmware is... I just bought the phone and did nothing but using it. No active apps widget at all. ;-(

Any suggestions?
