AC Question

My back button on my Samsung Note5 would not shut off and is continually taking me to the initial screen. Both the menu and back lights are on and will not shut off. I have rebooted and the problem is the same.
I have since rebooted and tried to refresh my phone but it has been on the "Downloading" screen for two hours.

Welcome to Android Central! You're currently on the Download (Odin) Mode screen, which comes up if you power on by pressing Power, Home, and Vol Down. You can force a shutdown from that screen by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down for about 15 seconds. Then power on normally.

If it keeps going to that screen, then something might be wrong with your buttons (which would probably be related to the issue with your Back and Recent Apps buttons). That might require a trip to the repair shop.

Can you boot into Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-27639

Phone finally reset. Both lights are still on. It still kicks me to home screen.
Samsung Note5.

Any recent water exposure or drops/trauma to the phone?
