What does "live" refer to, in a Samsung Theme?

That reminds me, do you have to manually change the AOD, if it's part of a Samsung theme that you've applied? Mine never changes.

I don't think so. Last time I tried one out with animation was on S7 Nougat. The AOD automatically changed.

I would think it should automatically apply with the theme, but it's not happening.
